Concrete Footers
Cornerstone Foundations uses Form-A-Drain (FAD) for the majority of its footers, a foundation system that efficiently drains water and vents radon around the entire slab perimeter. FAD is not removed after the concrete sets and therefore replaces traditional wood forms and drain tile. It is an innovative product that is also quite cost-effective. To form pads for columns, Cornerstone Foundations uses FastFoot Bags.
After inspecting the excavation for accuracy, Cornerstone Foundations uses laser technology to check the points and form the footer. Once the footer is formed, the rebar is set in place and the work is checked by local building inspectors, Cornerstone Foundations pours the concrete and sets in the vertical rebar to tie the wall and footer together.
Throughout the process, Cornerstone Foundations strives for efficiency and quality craftsmanship to provide clients with optimum results.
