Concrete Walls

Concrete walls are great for creating safe, environmentally-friendly storage facilities for a variety of uses on farms. As such, Cornerstone often works with agricultural clients to pour walls for litter storage buildings, barn foundations and water tanks.

Foundation Walls

The primary focus of Cornerstone Foundations is to produce quality foundation walls. From footers to stone slinging, Cornerstone Foundation's wall crews pour the best foundation walls in the Shenandoah Valley.

As every wall is different, Cornerstone strives to find the best fit for each project by drawing from its large inventory of forms and equipment as well as top-notch crews. It has experience with forming walls with brick ledges, angles, bay windows, slopes, arches, curves and various door and window sizes with heights ranging from one to 24 feet and widths ranging from four to 36 inches.

Additionally, Cornerstone Foundations sprays all of its forms with Cresset 727 Form Release, a top-of-the-line product that provides easy stripping of the forms, reduces concrete build-up on the forms and reduces "bug holes," resulting in attractive, high-quality walls.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls can require larger footers and thicker walls than the typical basement wall and as such, is a specialized offering. Cornerstone Foundations can provide this service for a variety of different job sites.

Insulated Concrete Walls

Cornerstone Foundations is committed to turning your home's basement into a lower-level living area that is warm, comfortable and dry. For below grade walls, insulating the inside surface is the most cost-effective and popular approach for achieving this goal.

While concrete is a great structural product for basements, it has a very poor insulating value. As such, Cornerstone Foundations uses a product called ThermaEZE to provide its clients with basements that are insulated, have furring strips preinstalled and are ready for dry wall.
