A footer is a solid concrete base that
aluminum forms are set upon to form the walls. It
supplies the base for your entire structure. Our footers
are engineered to the highest specifications needed
for each particular wall.
We use Form-A-Drain
(FAD) for the majority of our footers. This foundation
system efficiently drains water and vents radon around
the entire slab perimeter. FAD is not removed after
the concrete sets and therefore replaces traditional
wood forms and drain tile. It is an innovative product
we have found cost effective. Another product we use
to form pads for columns is FastFoot
Bags.

When Cornerstone Foundations arrives
at a job, we inspect the excavation for accuracy.
Using laser technology we check the points and form
the footer. Once it is formed, rebar set in place
and checked by local building inspectors, we pour
the concrete, and set in the vertical rebar which
will tie the wall and footer together.
Below are some footer projects we have
completed.
